Case Study: Transforming a Private Villa in Anavyssos into a Dream Wedding Venue<\/b><\/h3>\n
We were recently asked to provide full sound and visual coverage for Christos and Chrysa\u2019s wedding in Anavyssos<\/b>, along the scenic Athenian Riviera. Instead of a traditional wedding estate (ktima), the couple chose the lush garden of a private seaside villa.<\/p>\n
The challenge with private residences is two-fold: you need to create a romantic, intimate ambiance for dinner while simultaneously setting up an energetic, high-performance dance floor for the party\u2014all without letting heavy technical equipment look out of place in a home environment.<\/p>\n
Here is how we executed it in practice:<\/p>\n
Instead of heavy, aggressive floodlights that overpower the natural scenery, we utilized the venue\u2019s existing trees and greenery:<\/p>\n
Fairy lights on tree trunks:<\/b> We wrapped tree trunks and garden shrubbery with hundreds of meters of warm-white fairy lights, adding stunning visual depth and a soft, enchanting glow across the grounds.<\/p>\n<\/li>\n String lights (Bistro lights) over dining tables:<\/b> Above the dinner area, we strung overhead festoon string lights. They provided the exact amount of warm illumination needed for dining while creating a cozy, boho-chic wedding aesthetic.<\/p>\n<\/li>\n Illuminated Marquee Letters:<\/b> We placed customized giant lighted letters near the swimming pool, creating the ultimate photobooth backdrop for Christos, Chrysa, and their guests.<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n At a private villa or boutique wedding venue in Athens, bulky black box speakers can spoil your professional photography.<\/p>\n We deployed RCF Column Array sound systems<\/b>. These are sleek, slim, vertical speakers with a modern design that blend seamlessly into the surroundings. Despite their minimalist footprint, their sound dispersion is exceptionally uniform\u2014allowing guests at the dinner tables to converse comfortably, while delivering crystal-clear, punchy audio on the dance floor.<\/p>\n As dinner concluded and the DJ turned up the tempo, we shifted the lighting vibe dramatically:<\/p>\n We set up 4 Beam-Wash moving heads<\/b> around the dance floor.
